yes its true lamapro has gone mia since the new patch became available… but RL has taken over and since Im only 1 man I havent had time to work on the mod at all.

what can you expect when /if the mod actually comes out for the new patch:

here is just a few things

the inclusion of the venom from rtcw
distance falloff for mg42 and venom— headshots will count… and will only do the normal damage not 50 like an smg
etpro like ready symbols on scoreboard
etpro like airstrike counter on hud
etpro like class selection script ie s 4 = soldier with a panzerfaust
re-randomizing spawn time cvar: when activated if x amount of kills occur 4 seconds after spawn shield leaves… the spawn time will randomize to a new time
coach mode

the only thing thats not done is the coach mode

current list of commands

coach: used to log in as coach and to access coach commands if already on a team
allies: used in spectator login
axis: used for spectator login
logout: used to log out as coach

once a coach is logged in only he can:
help: list full commands
readyteam: ready up the full team
lock: lock the team from people joining
unlock: unlock the team to allow people to join
speclock: lock view from spectators
specunlock: unlock view to spectators
pause: pause the match
unpause: unpause the match
specinvite: specinvite spectators to watch their side
mute: mute players on the team
unmute: unmute players on the team
remove: remove players from the team
playerput: put player from spec to the team

once logged in the coach no longer can play… he is in teamlock mode where he can spectate from the view of his teammates

there are a few more things I want to add to this… but its a lot of stuff that needs to be changed in order to complete this

However I can hold off on the coach mode for now to release the mod… the problem is Im getting a random sig 11 error that will crash the server

so until I can find out whats causing that… no mod :frowning:

if anyone with some quake3 engine expirience wants to help out… that would be great…just pm

I really want to see this mod out of beta one of these days :angry:
