Decent players will smoke you but in certain situations it’s great. I’ve planted C4 on both containers in terminal and then run up to the balcony to mow people down in the confusion.

Usually it’s a suicide mission, i know i’m going to get killed up there, the real question is how many people do I take with me?

Also on Dome I will guard the one way with the double wall jump and then if the other side needs help I can hop on the MG to suppress a little and quickly hop back off.

I think the real mistake is that some people will just straight camp on the MG which is not good.

Is the map named “Chapel”? If yes, use MGs to aid in destroying EV.

If no, stay off of MGs.

The real issue is people lacking spatial awareness while staying on the mg for more than a few seconds. You jump in, preferably from out of sight and gun down two or three enemies, then you get the fuck out and move on.

Then again, these are the same players who end up being flanked or defeated in any other manner than people rushing straight at them, so it’s not really a “mg nest trap” problem, just unskilled players period.
