This is the first public beta of Wrong Turn. I liked what format Wils used when he posted about his map, so I’m gonna use his.

Good visuals, well constructed, solid theme. Looks like it might be fun.

Main criticism is the lack of vertical variation: the map feels very flat. I’d say it’s going to be hard to ‘fix’ the issue on a map this late in development, so perhaps just keep in mind for the next one. Not too keen on the hidey-holes… not to my taste.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure what you mean by hidey-holes, if that pit under the pipes, then that’s a gameplay element. Players will take risk when go for the MegaSphere. I noticed that the hallways are not as high as regular D3 maps, but I come from Kingpin community and 128 units height used to be enough to jump around. I will keep that in mind for my next map. Some people actually liked the tight hallways, because it’s good for shotgun/plasmagun fights. I’m planning to release final version this week.
