Nader’s anti-tank pet
While indeed a historical fact that these anti-tank dogs existed I still think it is a morbid concept to bring up, especially within the context of this modern age. Nevertheless I give you kudos for even knowing about these.
Such Insightful. Very Morbid. Many Explosive. Wow…
they use Goliath for that

Yeah the anti-tank dogs was technically a Russian thing but it’s still not something you would expect someone to pull out on a post like this, much less even know about.
god…how much explosive the dogs can take?
max 5-10 kg?
WW2 tanks even the 1940 tanks are impervious to explosive that small
all those dogs died for nothing…
War is hell…
Yes it is. Though they actually were trained to run underneath the tanks due to the underside of the chassis being the most vulnerable section of the vehicles. Mainly German Shepherd dogs were used, if I recall, by the Soviet Union for this purpose; the harness with the bomb and mechanisms was around 10-12kg in weight just for the record. When they ran under the tank the switch would be hit by the tank in the process thus triggering the bomb, which would very shortly after explode. Germans also did this as well but to a lesser extent. There was also an incident of Iraqi Insurgents attempting to make use of this method in recent years also; thankfully it proved unsuccessful.
Also the US actually attempted to try this tactic out too in 1943, but their attempts to train them like the Soviets did failed so the project was abandoned. But yeah, it was a deplorable waste of life without a doubt.
