Perhaps, or Brazillian to fit into the Monkey like theme with Rascal and the Amazon.
Some ideas on the looks of him. Perhaps a backwards cap instead of NV goggles to pay homage to the name Rascal.

Updated original post -
*Altered character look - Brazilian, should have a signature backwards cap
*Renamed Sticky Glove to Spider Glove - allowed movement on a vertical wall
*Removed spotting secondary ability
*Added Passive ability - wallrunning
*Changed Primary Weapons
*Changed Secondary Weapons
Rascal is now an infiltrration and movement mercenary. The way he will fit into dirty bomb is infiltraite through windows or unreachable places unlike other mercenarys. He’s meant to always be moving and his low damage but effective weapons accompany that.
Interesting ideas there @Fyrix but I don’t know how many people would use him, especially with the Empire 9, he’d be quite vulnerable when climbing along walls as his movement would be quite predictable, I don’t have much in the ways of a solution
Well he’s meant to climb walls as an opposite to go through standard routes. He should be fairly quick in scaling walls but his vunerability is intentional. Likewise he should be moving fast and getting to areas when a round starts. For example in execution - he should be getting there before the other team members (as in the middle of the map for market) and securing a position. He’s meant to use his ability stealthily or the flee from danger.
When immobile on walls he can use his weapons of course.
I agree with the weapon choice but if we had shotguns or similar CQC weapons, you’re going to have a more OP Proxy who can literallly climb into the building/area you’re holding down. He’s meant to be effective in 1v1s due to his high mobility and fire rate.
Id also like to add that I’ve found various situations where climbing up a wall or wall running would be particularly effective as an alternative route and thus very fitting for a mercenart like this to be features. Particularly areas with high windows and walls on all gamemodes availiable now.
does he have the same speed in ground then with his gloves on ? and i guess the area limit to use his q when mid air should be a little smaller then phontom emp range
Similar speed, he should climb and scale walls with his gloves on quickly, so he’s not a open target and can use it to escape situations. However, not too fast so he’s unhitable. Im not sure, that’d be upto the devs if it was miraculously added.
Made this before Genji, you even commented on it. Not to mention Genji can only go up a wall, this one can go im any direction of a walls surface, uses firearms and such.
Just because a movement style merc exists in one game, doesn’t mean their role is required or useless in another.
Considering the only similarities is that he has a more advanced movement style than Genji’s speed and able to scale walls.
Sorry to burst your bubble @Naonna but what are the Genji replicates?
Well like I said, it was posted pre-overwatch. Before I had played it and I think before it was released.
look pretty nice but with the actual map paths it would be really anoying so it would have to wait until the maps are fixed for his kind of gameplay
In what way would it be annoying, I had a quick look at all the maps and there are several on every map that this Mercenary would fit perfectly in.
Could you elaborate a little.
