Meet Sting, an ex-Australian military weapons specialist. During her career, Sting accumulated many weaponry skills, however, she was always a more proficient fighter with her cutting edge “Micro-RPG”. If you need a merc for taking down trickily placed deployables and annoying campers, Sting is the woman you call!
Sting has 110HP, 410SP and has loadouts favouring SMGs, Pistols, and Knives.
Primary Ability - Micro-RPG
Like Nader’s Grenade Launcher, Sting equips her Micro-RPG. The Micro-RPG (or mRPG) fires small rockets that do roughly the same amount of damage as Nader’s Nades. These rockets fly 12 metres forward and then proceed to track any enemies of their deployables within 7 metres, these rockets fly at a speed of 520SP, however they can be distracted by explosions for example, a Fragger with a rocket travelling towards him can throw a grenade to divert the rocket. The rocket also has a very large turning circle so running into a hallway will most likely cause the rocket to hit something and explode. If the rocket cannot find anything to track, it explodes after the initial 12 metre flight. With skill (or a shotgun), 30 damage can detonate the rocket. The cooldown for each rocket is 40 seconds, Sting carries 2 rockets. If a target lures the rocket back to Sting, the rocket automatically assigns Sting as a priority target for being sh*t. The firing interval for rockets is 2 seconds.
Playing as Sting - tips.
- Get familiar with the 12 metre mark. It will be critical in deciding where to fire rockets from.
- Distract your enemies from your rockets as they can break rockets with just 30 damage or by throwing a Nade in the opposite direction.
- Don’t follow your rockets, if you get within 7 metres of them, they will hunt you down as well.
Playing against Sting - tips.
- Don’t a p*ssy, you are safe while the rocket is travelling its first 12 metres. During this time you can shoot it or predict where it will start tracking and trap that place. Turrets will also target rockets.
- Kill Sting while there’s only 1 rocket.
- Rockets maintain an even level and cannot pitch upwards of downwards. Get to higher or lower ground.
Your feedback about this merc would be appreciated.
