[Mercenary Idea] Ambush (Expert camouflage operative)

As a child Ambush was always reclusive. She had very few enemies and even fewer friends. Ambush always wanted to live her life lavishly, earning money by the minute, but she never wanted to be popular, her solution, the military. After years upon years of repetitive work in the Swedish Commando Elites, Ambush had made more enemies than she made money, she didn’t like this one bit. When the DB conflicts occurred, it was instinct for Ambush to sign right up because in wartorn London, nothing is personal and everything is business.

Ambush has 100HP and 430SP.

Passive Ability - When Ambush crouches, she becomes undetectable by HBS or Redeye.

Primary Ability - Camouflage Panel
Ambush deploys a panel that projects everything behind it apart from Ambush herself. The camouflage panel can take up to 150 damage.

Using the panel, Ambush can hide almost anywhere, emerging from behind the panel and surprising her enemies. More effectively, Ambush can sneakily disarm, plant, or repair objectives.

How long does the hologram last? You could just hide in the corner of Underground’s 1st stage obj room and be perfectly invisible. Shooting through it seems a little bit much though, because you don’t know exactly where Ambush would be behind her hologram…

Maybe the hologram could a be a deployable instead that projects what’s behind it at the moment of placing it, rather than a player activated ability.

Less overlap with, and better synergy alongside, Phantom.
Shooting through the projection from the “towards enemy” side takes away the deployable’s health, but at least you can walk through it, and it fools Redeye’s IR.

Can it hide teammates, too? That would be useful for ninja captures as the enemy is more likely to miss you.

It could but it’s not super wide so i don’t know how many could fit.

You only need to hide one Bushwhacker or Fletcher so the enemy won’t notice them in those couple of seconds before they ninja-cap.

She was a stealth expert in the Swedish Commando Elites and the camouflage panel was her signature weapon.
