Merc-weapon handling

What I’m about to post seems superficial and maybe it’s just the overall feel in the brain or whatever but anyhow would be interested to know if anyone else feels the same.

I have played Dreiss on Kira, Arty and Redeye and my experiences vary on each of them. I find it handles better on Kira maybe due to movement speed and I aim better too. Arty is the slowest for me in terms of response time with Dreiss and Redeye falls somewhere in-between. I do agree I play it on a potato for the most part but does this really happen or just my imagination due to the hardware I use? Or does better movement contribute to better handling (and aiming)?

Your thoughts.

I only use Dreiss on Red-eye and Arty, and I think I prefer it on Arty. Maybe I’m just more comfortable with him.

This is a real Signature.

I love burst rifles on Kira, hate it on Arty. Vice versa with the Dreiss. Kind of like how I hate the Hochfir on Nader and Phoenix but love it on Proxy or hate the Blishlok on Phantom and Sawbonez but love it on Aura

Small mercs are much harder targets to shoot back at, due to A) their much faster strafing speed and B) their much shorter and thinner hitboxes. This is why a Proxy with a Hochfir SMG tends to be much more dangerous in combat than a Nader with the same Hochfir, because she’s a smaller, faster target, which more than makes up for her lower max HP.

So essentially, a merc with low health and smaller and faster player model can be more effective than a merc with higher HP but a larger hitbox and more sluggish movement in combat (however smaller mercs are MUCH weaker to explosives and turrets). So having the same shooting ability on a smaller merc is often more effective than that gun on a larger merc.
