merc viability/meta chart

(Yoshimoto) #1

so, we all know that there are just some mercs who are more effective than others, therefore they are used in competitive. now im not sure which mercs are the best so i was wondering if theres anyone who could do a little chart with the viabilty of every merc? maybe for example sort them into classes like A for very viable, B for ok but not the best, C situational, D phantom, or something like that?

(im very interested to see how viable kira is since i got a gold card from a simple case and im not sure if i wanna spend 50000 credits just yet)

The most competitive mercs are Fragger, Skyhammer, Sawbonez and Bushwhacker

quite sad that the most basic ones seem to be most effective

Kira is really good if you can get used to burst rifles. The beam is insanely easy to use for how much you can get out of it.

just bought kira yesterday and i absolutely love her! Always on the top og the leaderboard

Welcome to the Kira club!

And now let’s pray that the devs will bless us with a Stark AR buff. o:)

Assault merc would be fragger. Medic would be sawbonez and pheonix. Support would be skyhammer and specialist bushwacker. I doubt stoker will change anything much due to him having an ammo station and not ammo bags/boxes, maybe he would be a good option for defense though.

Sad, but not so surprising really. The more basic an ability is, the more reliant and more efficient it tends to be.

woah, so phoenix is actually good for competitive?

@Yoshimoto
Comp now has a rule where you can’t have 2 of the same merc. It used to be sawbonez as the go to but with Pheonix you get a mix of the good of sawbonez with the agility of Aura as well as the best pool of weapons.
