Trickster

‘OWWWW, Did you see that? Oh wait, you are dead!’

Role: Stalker / Attacker

Idea:
The idea is a fast merc who dual wields pistols as priamry weapons and a revolver as a secondary. He has increased running speed and can jump further and more often. He is pretty limited when he has to face his enemy frotnal that’s why he uses his two tactical abilities a smoke grenade and an infrared vision to distract and kill the enemy.
His melee weapon is a kramabit for quick deployment, which does heavy damage when the enemy is attacked from behind.

What do you think :)?

I think the Trickster should be female.

I like the dual pistol idea, although I’m not sure how that would work when aiming down the sights. But I think to just give him the same abilities as Redeye is pretty lame, I’d rather see something more unique, maybe a quick dash like ability on a short cooldown, making him super mobile - or something along those lines.

Well yeah it’s just the basic idea of it ^^ i never played Redeye so i don’t know how he behaves :slight_smile:

And yeah she can be female why not :slight_smile:

red eye has smoke grenade and infrared vision; so i think the abilities of trickster would have to be adjusted a little : )

I’m definitely fine with more than one class having smoke though

If he’s to be a trickster, how about some sort of decoy ability, like an holographic projection? Some way to disable deployables like HBS, mines and turrets would also fit the trickster theme (maybe an EMP nade?)

I personly would like some more interesting stuff but i think this would require a lot more programming and balancing. Like a quickdraw skill seen in Call of juarez or Heroes of the storm. activate mark and then shoot the revolver with some hammer action (in midair).
just an idea though :smiley:

yeah i seen that game but naaaaaaaaa there are better shooters. Also isn’t McCree a reference to CoJ’s McCalls or Sielas greaves? but yeah some trickshootin action would be nice :smiley:

I don’t like having trickshot abilities in a skill based game, it basically gives you unfair kills.

Ever heard of an old guy named Clint Eastwood? Played a very similar character in a famous Italian western trilogy long before the guys who made CoJ were even born… :wink:

I really want a guy with smoke grenade. Not in the red-eye way where you get free wallhacks for the smoke but in a way you can use it tactically, for the competitive purposes.

The iron sight mode should be like Darkness 2, just hold the pistols together. I also think the gadget should have like a decoy or something and have like a slow down grenade or something… something to make other mercs to move more slowly

yeah i though of either holding the guns closer together or doing some gunslinger action by holding one in the front the other in the back shooting the first and then roate and repeat :stuck_out_tongue:
