So let’s think of this guy as Skyhammers technical brother. Same health, same speed, similar weapons, but his abilities are more tactical than aggressive.

Stats:

Health: 120
Speed: 400
C4 arming: 5 seconds
C4 diffuse: 8 seconds

Cost:

40,000

Abilities:

1. Enemy deployables converter.

Get within a certain distance of enemy deployables, and use this EMP unit to convert them over to your own team.

Cool down time: 30 seconds

2. 1 x Chemical grenade.

This spurts out a poisonous gas lasting approximately 5-7 seconds within a small radius (similar to the radius of Stokers grenade) primarily used more for riot control than offensive attacking.

Cool down time: 40 seconds

Weapons:

Primary: M4A1, Dreiss AR, and if we’re open to new AR suggestions, how about the T91?

Secondary: Simeon .357, DE.50, Selbstadt .40

I think this would make for a well balanced offensive/support type of character, especially on tighter maps with tighter corridors

NOPE NOPE NOPE ! GO HOME! NOPE!

lessee…we have ability 1 that can make ANY enemy deployable friendly, and a poison smoke nade.

Within a small radius (for a comparison, think of Phoenix’s healing pulse) … and only once every 30 seconds.

It’s not like you could just convert a bushwhacker turret from a far away distance lol

Converting enemy deployable is a cool idea … that would be fun !!

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #6

@rhythmMirror Its a fire support wiht no support abilities, and 2 VERY dangerous abilities, even if its not a lot of range changing dployables should not be in a game like dirty bomb IMO,

(doxjq) #7

You could make it a little more difficult, such as rather than a pulse actually having to get hands on with the unit up close. Makes it harder to do, plus you can only do one at a time. Heck I reckon if you can get close enough to a bushwhacker turret without dying and manage to convert it you damn well deserve it xD

(ASTOUNDINGSHELL) #8

@rhythmMirror then why risk it when its worth mroe just destroying it and keep a real fire suport who can clear and area and actually support the team with ammo not just been a troll to the enemy

I think you’re forgetting how vague online gameplay can be. Half the time Skyhammers don’t drop ammo packs. Some times you don’t have Skyhammers or Artys at all. There’s also a lack of medics a lot of the time or people who just generally play for themselves. Being able to convert an aura health station could be interesting.

You can argue it 1000 different ways, at the end of the day there is no right or wrong answer and it’s only a merc suggestion.
