Appearance- Tall with a short pony tail and hazel colored hair. Wears a hoodie with the hood down, as well as a battered pair of jeans with a single knee pad on the left leg and a thigh holster strapped on the right leg. Also wears a bandanna around her neck and military grade headphones over her ears.

Parabola holds out her parabolic microphone and flips a switch to turn it on. The microphone detects enemies in a 30 degree radius of the crosshair that are within 50 meters of her position in a manner similar to Redeye’s IR Goggles. Unlike the IRG though, they do not highlight enemies in white, but can instead spot enemies that are though a maximum of 2 thin walls. Spotting though walls reduces the range by 5 meters for each one and the detection cone by 5 degrees.
Within 10 meters, spotting is instant. Between 11 and 25, spotting takes 1.5 seconds. Between 26 and 40, it takes 2.5 seconds. After that, it takes 3.5 seconds to spot. Spotting through walls will increase the time needed by 1.5 second if the enemy is within 10 meters, and 1 seconds for any other range. If an enemy is within the mic’s spotting radius, it will make a slight beeping noise on the player’s view and create static interference in enemy comms.

I’ve been toying with a parabolic microphone merc for a while, and I figured that the only way to make her unique is the ability to spot through walls. I also figured that an actual, close up recon merc was badly needed in this game, and Parabola is just the kind of person for the job.
