Primary Ability- Surveillance Drone
CD- 25 sec
Duration- 20 sec
Oracle releases a drone from her hand and it hovers by her side, awaiting further orders. The drone will passively spot any enemies that shoot within a 15 meter radius of the drone, and will immediately spot enemies that are within 5 meters of LOS. Pressing ‘Q’ again on an area will cause the drone to hover there and passively spot enemies.

Secondary Ability- Direct Control
CD- 2 seconds
Duration- 40 seconds
Oracle pulls out a datapad and taps a few times on it, assuming direct control over the Surveillance Drone. This locks Oracle in place, but the drone gains a few new abilities while it is under control. It will spot any enemies that are in LOS after 2 seconds of focusing on them while still. The drone can also scan downed enemies to download their minimap data, temporarily showing enemies on allied minimaps that are within 20 meters.

Pressing ‘E’ again will cause Oracle to put the datapad down and return the drone back to regular operation, but only after 2 seconds have been spent controlling the drone. If Oracle is killed while the drone is under direct control, she will remain in control until she is gibbed.

Weapons- Hochfir, SMG-9, Crotzini
New Augments
Sat Link- Remain in control of the Surveillance Drone after you are gibbed.
Enhanced Sensors- Spotting radius increased by 10%.
Auxiliary Thruster- Surveillance Drone speed increased by 20%.

Notes-
The first of a series of 5 new mercs that I have in my head, Oracle is meant to be a close quarters recon merc with both a passive and an active spotting ability, the latter behaving similarly to Redeye’s LOS spotting but leaving her vulnerable. I had an assortment of drone ideas for other class archetypes, but the only one that really worked was a spotting drone for a recon merc, not a drone that shot rockets or healed allies. I’m sure it’s fairly balanced, but I need all of the feedback I can get!

having to control the drone for 5 seconds before being able to un-control it seems a bit much, maybe slap the same amount of time you have to spend in a mounted gun before you can get off it? which is how much? 1 second?

since the drone doesnt seem to have any offensive abilities attached to it, i took the time to look over the weapons and by extension the augments since you stuck it right underneath the weapons.

the primaries look pretty solid, but the crotzni seems to be too beefy an smg for a recon, just sayin, maybe go for the mp-400 or something?
the augments look pretty interesting, too. some of these can even be attached to certain abilities, like Sat Link for fletchy’s stickies. i think there already is an augment for better spotting range, tho, for vass’s snowballs.
