Tactics: Since the Drummer is a crowd control skill try to take it to where the enemies will likely be grouped at and take them out by surprise while they try to take it out
Fight back: Since his weapons are mid range try to take him out with a shotgun or far with a sniper. If the Drummer is presence try to stay out of its radius and it will take more damage from explosives so a Nader or Fragger should do the trick. Also since Siren can only repair this take her out is essential to prevent from fixing.
