Kenji Noshimuri was born in Kyoto with his younger brother. Kenji took a keen interest in the field of chemistry and at the age of 18 he took a double major in college with chemical engineering and molecular medicine. His brother was then suddenly diagnosed with a disease and Kenji used the best of his abilities to make a cure for him, but his brother sadly died. Kenji then went on in life to make certain serums and medicine. He then signed up for the Japanese counter terrorist unit as well as making serums. He then made a weaponized serum which he offered the military to buy but the military rejected the serum due to ethical issues.

Abilities:
Compound 115: Kenji uses a canister to release a deadly gas in an area of effect, these canisters have two modes. Grenade or proximity. Each canister has a range of about 5-10 meters. When a enemy comes into contact with the canister it will deal 25 damage per second but the effects can be erased by receiving health from a medic.

Secondary weapons: Simeon 357, Caulden, Selbstadt 40
Melee weapons: Katana, Kukri, Stilnotto Stiletto

One problem I see, it seems kinda like a Molotov with a burn effect… I can’t be sure, but that’s how the mechanics sound.

how would you switch from grenade to proximity ? @Dysfnal i guess it will not destroy deployable and it will not clear health stations but it could be better to defend C4 then molotovs and block some paths

so without healing from a medic it’s a garenteed kill, unless it has a really short duration? What happens if a whole team is bunched up in a small radius? It doesn’t seem very avoidable unlike arty or skyhammer which give you plenty of warning before nuking into next week.

Where’s the duration? Is the duration permanent? If it is, then that’s a balance issue.

i’d actually much rather it not be a proxy mine “except with gas”.

true, proxy sorta has a grenade “except its not”…except…its not. its improvised as such, one could argue every grenade type ability in the game is sorta a proximity trap if you camp with it “except its not” similarly.

as for poison gas, in order to make them viable over mollies, since gas cant destroy deployables, it would probably need a DOT effect, which is a bit of trouble in a game where you frequently have more snipers than players somehow(an exaggeration).
