Merc Idea: Gunslinger [Spaghetti Western with DB flair]

Appearance, Personality, and Backstory: Imagine if there existed a cyborg parkour John Wayne, and you’d be near dead on the money. Sparks’…ahem, curiosity…meant she got a little too excited with a guy she once knew, a pair of chopsticks, the REVIVR gun, and some state-of-the-art cybernetics. What did she end up with? The fastest gun in the West is now the fastest Merc in Dirty Bomb!

Class: Fire Support Assault
Health: 75
Speed: 480 (yes, 10 faster than Aura and Sparks)

Ability 1: Throwing Knife
Gunslinger can carry up to three of these knives, each on a 15-second debatable length cooldown. Enemies hit by this spinning bladed projectile of death will suffer “bleeding damage”: 12 damage per second for 5 seconds mechanically 3 damage assessed every quarter second. Hitting the same Merc multiple times with this Ability will cause the bleeds to stack; knives obey the headshot rule, but the extra 60 damage is done instantly on top of the normal bleed. Staying in range of a Healing Station (or friendly Phoenix) will stabilize the wounds to prevent further bleeding (but won’t regenerate health until the duration expires), and Sawbonez’ Medpacks (not Sparks’, though the restored health could mean life or death) will stop the bleeding outright.
Enemies will continue to bleed even when Incapacitated and can even be gibbed by the bleed. Reviving will close the wounds. By the time a help up finishes, the bleeding will have stopped.

Ability 2: Portable Saloon
Functions like Kira’s Ammo Station (gives out ammo), but advertises a nice, stiff drink.

Primary Weapon: Chapps Trident
This break-action triple-barrel shotgun (modeled after a sawn-off Chiappa Triple Crown shotgun) doesn’t seem like much at first. Only three rounds? 2.5 second reload time? 10 projectiles x 8 dmg/pellet? One only needs to right click to find out what’s so special about this weapon. Instead of aiming down this weapon’s non-existent sights, two of the shotgun’s barrels will be let off simultaneously in one mega-blast! Right click will send 20x8 pellets for a total of 160 damage, but will function identically to left click if only one shot remains. This thing has crazy spread, though; spread is slightly larger than the competing Remburg shotgun, so be sure to embed the muzzles directly into the rectal cavity of the victim before dealing your killing blows. One last noteworthy trait of this weapon; without a lever or pump action to deal with, the rate of fire now clocks in at 90 RPM.
Previously, the right click blast let off all three. Now a triple shot can be done by clicking both mouse buttons simultaneously.
Loadout Cards may see a Remburg or Ahnuld-12.

Secondary Weapon: Peacekeeper Revolver…x2
The classic Peacekeeper revolver, a gun whose basic design (known in real life as the Colt Peacemaker) has remained in service for near 150 years as of 2020. High-damage (24 body/48 head), reliable, six shot cylinder…Gunslinger loves these so much, he took the next logical step and bought two! Wielding these puppies akimbo, Gunslinger can double the already impressive 320 RPM (accomplished by “fanning” the hammers with his cybernetic thumbs) of these handguns, and since they recoil separately, firing one won’t impact the pinpoint accuracy of the other. Like the Trident primary, there’s no ADS feature with this weapon; instead, the left and right mouse buttons fire the left and right hand revolvers, respectively.
Pressing the Reload key will reload the revolver with less remaining loaded ammo, you can still fire the other revolver during the reload. Press it twice to reload both. If they’re tied, the left gun will go first.
Loadout Cards may equip him with dual Simeon revolvers or the Caulden (just the one, though) semiautomatic.

Melee Weapon: Bowie Knife (pronounced “buoy”, not “bow-ee”)
While heavier and slower than other combat knives in its class, it’s the trusted knife of a Western hero for a reason. At 10 inches in blade length, this survival/combat knife looks more like a short sword…and boy, does it hurt like one. (50 fast, 80 heavy)

Man, I hope this isn’t horribly overpowered/doesn’t clash horribly with Bushwhacker’s theme. Just imagine this guy with Flying Pig/Double Time/Spares Augments.

not a bad idea BUT if you take out the Portable Saloon (wich is the only thing i dislike) then you got a nice assassin class.

also in order to be a Fire Support i do believe the merc needs an offensive AOE Ability and a way to give the teammates ammo.

really love the whole cyborg cowboy gunslinger idea
