Guerrilla has always been fond of explosions, or as he calls them, “Booms” or “Bangs”. The Russian explosion enthusiast experimented with explosions as a young adult, specifically rockets and missiles. But when it was time for him to join the MercServ, he didn’t want to be the coward to use such an incredible weapon from the safety of behind his front lines. So in order to satisfy his guilt, he went on a mission to find a way to bring his missiles with him close into the battlefield. As you can see, Guerrilla has done his part in creating “F.L.B”, or “Front-Line Boom”.
Guerrilla:
Type: Assault
Sprint: 375 Without F.L.B, 350 With F.L.B
Health: 180
Ability:
F.L.B-Guerrilla’s “backpack” transforms into a helmet covering his head, with a missile in the hole on top. For 20 seconds, he can fire a missile every 5 seconds in exchange for a small aiming-crosshair that is surrounded by blackness (Think of a really small FOV) and low speed. He can not jump using his F.L.B, nor can he use other weapons until the cooldown has expired or he cancels the ability. Missile damage as a direct hit is currently 100 damage, and splash damage is reduced upon distance ranging from 100 (Direct Hit) to 30 (Farthest possible distance to get hit from). After the cooldown has expired, even if he has canceled it manually, he must wait for a lengthy 45 seconds to use it again, so make it count! F.L.B also takes 2 seconds to prepare for use.
Weapons:
BR-16
Timi-47
Dreiss AR
M9
Selbstadt.40
Caulden
Stilleto
Beckhill Combat Knife
Cricket Bat
Tips:
- Guerrilla’s rockets do not reach it’s destination instantly! When you see a running Merc, aim a little bit in front of him/her in order to do maximum damage. If it’s a fast Merc like Aura, aim way in front, or she could out run your missiles!
- Guerrilla’s “Front-Line Boom” may sound like you should rush in with your missiles out, but it’s not a smart idea to
rush into an objective missile out. Your cooldown leaves you vulnerable between missile deployments, and your slow speed doesn’t help either. Find the perfect combination of when you should rush in with explosions, or stay a medium-range to deal your damage!
How to “Fight-Back”:
- Guerrilla has a very small FOV/crosshair when he is using F.L.B. This means he cannot see as much around him as usual, he has “tunnel vision” in a sort of way. You can use this to your advantage by sneaking up directly next or behind him, surprising him while he takes damage.
- Guerrilla has a long cooldown between rockets. When he shoots a missile, rush him. You will most likely do damage, or at least weaken him, before he is able to use another rocket.
(This is just an idea. I am hoping to receive feedback in order to change parts of the idea! Thanks!)
