merc idea.....fire thrower

this idea just randomly came to me. but wouldn’t it be cool to have a merc whos weapon was a flame thrower.

Stoker is an unreleased merc with incendiary grenades. Close enough. :wink:

Also, I have a feeling that the flame thrower would be underpowered because enemies could just shoot you from range. :confused:

Unless they are arming the c4 inside the building on underground, or throw the incendiary grenades on to the objectives so the enemy waits off for the fire to burn out, making your team more time to kill. Or defending the c4.

Maybe it could be made like a real-life flamethrower, where it was actually a beefed-up Super Soaker. But shooting diesel fuel. That it ignited. A surprisingly ranged arcing stream of burning diesel that stuck to enemies and burned them? That would be a great Stoker primary.
