Merc idea: Drav the Tank Medic

Drav was never popular in school, he was a scrawny little runt who didn’t really have any friends. well, except for the ones in his head, he always was lonely, until he decided to become a bit tougher than your average man. after school he was winner of 50 awards in the art of punching people in the face, but he never liked hurting people, he wanted to help society. he created experimental technology that to some, would be able to do miracles, while others, maybe not so much! after the dirty bomb incident, he took his experimental technology and experimented on ‘willing subjects’ to create the ultimate medical devices. unfortunately, all his stuff was stolen by people yet unknown to him, leaving him with his one last device, his mighty Zeus grenade, at least it was his best idea, well that’s according to all his friends!

The Zeus grenade: The Zeus grenade is a grenade that can heal and revive downed teammates, and also does hefty damage to enemies, also if Drava stands within the blast radius of his grenade it will activate an immediate start on health regen, though his grenade does not heal him himself.

Health: 130

merc type: tank-medic hybrid

Weapons:
Ahnuld 12, Krotzni, M4

Smuth and westman, tolen, Deagle

Cricket bat, both knives

Don’t think medics can use rifles, first of all, just shotties and SMGs.

The Zeus nade seems to be able to take up the spot of defibs, but what about heals?

As for the nade itself, it’s kind of a nade version of spork’s REVIVR gun. Personally I think it could be interesting, but probably a little OP, depending on the effect radius, time to revive, health given on revive and damage death to enemies
(You probably need to make it so one nade doesn’t damage and rez at the same time, or it does, and the more people are in the radius, the less damage dealt and health given)

I feel like if it revived people in blast radius it would have to heal people/rev people less the fsrther away they are from grenade blast

Programming aspect: can you drop a nade on yourself before you’re downed? - Also, even if it’s not applied here, never have a merc who can heal themselves with the firepower of stoker or fragger.

I dont think the nade should revive people or you would just be throwing away the usefulness of sparks

I also think the nade shouldn’t revive people. I mean it heals people within radius of it, so essentially it’s an Aura station but it also automatically revives people, so that’s a little off putting. Plus like Ryder said, if he had the M4 and more health than Skyhammer too, I mean he’s basically as powerful as Fragger with automatic medic abilities.

Don’t get me wrong, love the idea to an extent, but I think it would have to be better balanced eg no auto revive, less powerful guns, or perhaps give him the powerful guns but way less health.

I wasn’t being rude, I was being serious, if you want your merc to go beyond this forum post, you have better chances modifying it periodically. If you just want to pitch an idea you like, I have a thread for that, it’s over here
