[Merc Idea] Bushwhacker brother, dual pistol specialist

With the coming of Javelin and new guns, I thought we need new awesome pistols and someone to use them well.

He’s the brother of Bushwhacker a Texan Cowboy.

New pistols can be some automatic pistols.

Primary:
Dual pistols (existing ones or new)

He could use an ability to lock people in place like a net gun, bolas or a cowboy lasso. (but I think to be viable in DB it need to be fast)

The main thing here is really the ability of a merc to use Dual Pistols. Dual Deagles (DE .50) or Smjüth & Whetsman .40 anyone?

Duel wielding is either useless or overpowered. If it’s literally just firing pistols at twice the speed, that’s double the DPS. If it involves a massive range/accuracy penalty, then you’d be better off using a single one.

Any mobility limiting abilities get a solid no from me. Thunder was awful when his concuss effect was stronger than it was now, and a solid root-type effect would be even worse.

one thing you have to remember, this could easily be balanced in a sort of life like fashion, currently all the mercs in the game wield there side arms with both hands which in real life gives you less recoil and more stability when you fire… they could make it so a merc duel wielding pistols would have a bigger starting spread and a much bigger spamming spread as well as take away there ability to ADS (which lets be honest, is useless in most situations)… and if im not mistaken a duel wielding merc was made in the concept art of the game aswell… i would love to see one, in all honestly

and i have to agree with you on the second point, the game has an amazing movement system with a very high level of versatility and skill ceiling. doing anything to limit that would be very controversial to say the least, i couldn’t imagine them adding something to complacently stopping a merc in there footsteps
