Name - Holo
Class - Engineer
Gender - Male
Age - Early 20s
Nationality - Korean
Health: 90
Speed: 440-450
Looks - Holo would look similar to Vasili, with a hooded look, but his appearance would have a darker theme to it. Due to past mercenary work, he has a robotic left arm and wears a futuristic mask with a painted skull on it. On his robotic left arm, he has a PDA device (think of a slimmer, more high tech version of the Pip-Boy from Fallout) which he uses to use his abilities.
Personality/Quotes - Holo would be a pretty cocky and laid-back merc, always bragging about his great feats and achievements. The mask, however, is built with a female AI that could communicate with Holo throughout the game. The AI (name coming later) is more serious and will yell at Holo for being reckless (barely escaping a fight with low HP, running straight into mines/turrets, etc.). When Holo dies, the AI will make a sarcastic or discouraging remark (to encourage the player to stop getting killed?). When Holo presses K to suicide or tap out, the AI makes a “shut-off” noise.
Holo
- “I have only 3 limbs, so there’s absolutely nothing I can lose!”
- “Maybe next time I’ll use my good arm.”
- “My arm’s sore… from crushing you guys waaaaaay too much!”
AI
- “If you keep that up, you’ll lose the other one too!”
- “How did you miss that? It’s a GLOWING MINE!”
- “How did you even get hired Holo?”
Ability 1 (the “Q” ability): Hologram (15 second cooldown)
After a short delay, Holo sends out a hologram using his PDA on his arm. The hologram has the same health and speed as Holo, and will have the most recent weapon Holo has equipped. It can be targeted by turrets, trip mines, For Holo’s allies, the difference between the hologram and player is extremely obvious, but for enemies, the two look almost exactly alike. Tapping “Q” summons the hologram in a stationary location, while holding “Q” and filling up a charge meter shown on the PDA allows the hologram to move. A stationary hologram lasts for 30-40 seconds, while a moving hologram lasts for 5-6 seconds. Both types of holograms can shoot at enemies, but do no damage. A moving hologram moves foward in a straight path from the position it was sent from, however, it will follow allies. In addition, Holo can reactivate this ability to teleport to his active hologram, destroying it and leaving him vulnerable once he makes the switch. When Holo makes the switch, it will give off a distinct poof noise, alerting nearby enemies. Switching with his hologram adds 5 more seconds to the cooldown. Whenever a hologram is killed by an enemy, it reveals that it is a hologram with a special death animation and adds 3 seconds to the cooldown.
Ability 2 (“E” ability): Objective Specialist
Weapons: Tolen MP, DE .50, Knife
Strategy
-Holo can place a stationary hologram in a hidden location, do hit-and-run attacks or complete an objective, then teleport to his hologram to safely escape.
-Holo can send a moving hologram to push with his team, while he goes to flank his enemies or get sneaky ninja plants.
-Holo can send a moving hologram towards a main objective, go off to clear a room or complete a side objective, then teleport to his hologram and push the main objective.
-Holograms can be used to scare off low health enemies or trick them into thinking Holo’s team has an actual player in the area.
-Teammates can use the hologram as cover.
Counters
-Vasili’s heartbeat sensor reveals holograms and marks them as a hologram while they are within range. This encourages more people to play Vasili.
-Once Redeye is added, his IR goggles reveal holograms just like it reveals cloaked Phantoms.
-Enemies can stop holograms from moving and use them as cover.
- Turrets and mines do double damage against holograms.
- Listening to the “poof” noise tells the enemies that the real Holo is in the area.
-Holo has to channel in order to send out holo grams and teleport, leaving him an easy targe
