A medic with a background in Bio-chemistry.
experiments on a Tetrodotoxin, LSD, and Sodium Pentothal based injector on weak/dying patients yielded “minions” and subsequently turned into illegal chemical weaponizations.

HP: 90
SPD:410

Abilities:

Defibrillators: can revive teammates and maybe used as melee weapon.

Injector: can be injected onto incapacitated but alive enemy units(limit of 1) to create a minion’d(zombified) ally that only uses melee and lasts 20 seconds, same hp as it was alive.

Weapon Loadouts:

Primaries:
Dreiss AR, Stark AR, BR-16

Secondaries:
Caulden, M9, Selbstadt .40

i have several questions:

  1. is this injector shot from a distance of jabbed in melee range?
  2. is the “minion” controlled by the enemy player or by a bot?
  3. what’s the cooldown of the injector?
  4. what’s this medic’s heals?

1:it is in melee/very close distance
2:the minion is controlled by a bot(probably, would be backfire if its an enemy player)
3:about 30-45 seconds.
4.Defibrillators that you can charge at incapacitated allied players the longer it is charged the fuller the hp healed.

sounds great! but i don’t think people would play (him or her?) because she is a bit week if there isn’t a minnion.

by ‘heals’ i meant heals. aura has a medic station, sawbonez has medbags, sporks has minimeds. heals.

nice point what about… a healing injector?

Was thinking this the other day myself. Having a medic that was able to boost people back to health by giving them a shot of adrenaline would be unique.

(HunterAssassin5) #8

not really. adrenaline has no healing properties whatsoever. its adrenaline. its the stuff that goes through your system in a fight or flight scenario, giving you the energy boost to do one of the two, not get wounds to close up.
at least “medbags” can get away with having medical supplies, but an adrenaline shot is just an adrenaline shot. a milder version of a steroid, i think.
in my opinion this might work better as an assault or recon, if the minions can spot enemies or something.
also, in case you havent noticed, there isnt really any bots in DB. oh, sure, turrets shoot at enemies and mines explode when they come near, but there are no moving bots, most probably due to the difficulty to implement it with the existence of a parkour system in the game. even trying to just take a normal non-parkour route towards the nearast enemy…they might just parkouir far enough away for it to switch to the next nearast enemy, which might then parkour far away and need to switch to the next nearest, and the next one and so on.

I wasn’t talking about bringing downed / dead team mates back from the grave with adrenalin, just as a way of helping them heal faster, like auras station. I know the word health could be confused with healing, but give any one a shot of adrenaline and they’d be bouncing off the walls haha.

Also compared to steroids, adrenaline is far more sinister. Steroids are just hormones, most of which you can’t really overdose on. However you can inject them straight into a vein and kill yourself that way, but all in all adrenaline is way more dangerous.

Speaking of which, how about a merc with the potential to inject people with steroids? Nothing insane ofcourse, but something like one injection gives the player a 10hp boost to their max health or something? Eg Skyhammer: 120hp to 130hp until he is dead, then it returns to 120hp.

Kind of makes sense. A merc based on helping people stay alive in a different way to healing them. Similar to a medic, and no more overpowering really. But then I guess people will argue that using him in combination with a medic will be too OP, which is a genuine concern, because Rhino with a medic is already dangerous enough.

No zombies, please.
