Merc Customization: Switching mercs maintain previous cuztomization.

(amazinglarry) #1

This is a rather minor bug, but I noticed today that while messing around with the merc customization that when after customizing a merc, then switching them out for a new one (who I have not previously customized), they will take on the previous merc’s customizations.

For example, if I select Aura and change her skin to ‘Decon’, and then switch to Fragger (whom I had not previously customized), he will default to the Decon skin. Selecting ‘customize’ on him will then default him back to the ‘default’ skin.

It’s worth noting this ONLY seems to happen if one has made no customizations to the mercs previously. After setting one even back to the default skin, they will always retain it thereafter.

Pretty minor bug obviously but, one nonetheless.

Sure, go ahead and make fun of the people who will actually invest real money to keep this game alive after launch…

Heh, true but… It’s not the textures and clothes that will make moneys. I would for example, pay for moar nades and for tbag animations!

Amen to that :penguin:

The guys earning a living making hats and cosmetics for TF2 might disagree with your view on clothes not making money…

Taunts and animations are certainly other valid revenue streams, but “more nades” would be serious pay-to-win BS.

Yes, but if it only concerns nades, I will gladly close my eyes on this fact
