MERC: Conductor

After working as a professor of Robotics in America, this Mexican has decided he needs a little more excitement in his life. Luckily, america’s gun laws have allowed him to hone that skill, and his little robot compadre is coming with him to London.

Class: Assault
HP:100
Speed: 460

Q-
Valentine
Deploys Valentine, Conductor’s personal robotic assistant. Any ammo or health given to him will be automatically given to Conductor. he has a movement speed of 480, and only mechanical claws as weapons, which deal 40 damage per hit and hit at a rate of 1 per second.

E- Command
pressing E will put commander into Command mode. If you’ve ever played Skyrim, think the follower commands. Commands are:

  • Point at Floor: Wait there
  • Point at ally: Follow them (Valentine will attack players who attack the chosen ally)
  • Point at enemy: attack them
  • Point at health/ ammo / ammo station: Collect that

Note that after any commands have been executed, Valentine will follow Conductor and attack any enemies that attack conductor / itself

Weapons
Conductor is heavier hitting then most mercs, packing a Timik, Driess and KEK. For secondaries he has the Caulden, Deagle and revolver.

…why an engie? sure, he’s got a bot, but…engie? hell, they had to make the turret fragile as heck so bushwhacker can keep it. better as an assault, i think. also as a super-squishy character with a bot.

Yeah I was thinking assault originally, but his background made it seem like engi would be a better fit.

you can tell people he’s good with machines, but cant work well under stress(read: fire), so he built a bot but can’t plant, defuse or repair much better than a non-engie.

I swear I came up with the whole “engineer bot” idea before. http://forums.dirtybomb.nexon.net/discussion/19892/merc-automaton

It’s basically the same.

It happens. I designed a merc called frequency that had two abilities. 1) disabling enemy deployables and 2) a flash grenade.

Later that same day Thunder was released.

I hadn’t seen any footage on Thunder before that.

There’s only so many ideas we can come up with that sound plausible haha.
