Bio
Tasked with scouting out the best routes for oil pipelines and inspecting structural pylons, Bubble made a name for herself among her fellow structural engineers as an adrenaline junkie. With the only way to quickly access pipelines in remote mountain passes being by skis, and after nearly dying to a sudden avalanche, Bubble thought to invent an inflatable bubble shield to protect herself. Making the bubble out of Kevlar, and lining it with plastic explosives to blow her way out of the snow, Bubble unwittingly created the next piece of cutting edge combat tech.
But that part of her life is behind her now. Some unknown criminal syndicate blew up the pipeline and framed her for the mess. She hears the true criminals are in London, pilfering things from the irradiated city. An entire life’s experiences of dangerous work and dangerous amounts of money, all ready to finally come into play.

Appearance: A heavy ski coat (crucial to her Ability) adorns this athletically built French woman. She’s got anti-glare sunglasses and tops her long blonde hair with an ushanka. Fur gloves and ski boots finish the appearance.
Ability 1: Inflatable Shield
“They always do have inflated opinions of themselves.” -Bubble, on the Mercs she’s defeated.
Bubble’s primary ability is her eponymous Inflatable Shield. She can pull the ripcord on her jacket and quickly inflate a protective Kevlar bubble for 360 degree protection of herself. She can tank everything with her shield’s 300 health (increased with the Steady Augment, it counts as a deployable); however, while protected by the shield, Bubble is completely immobilized and cannot use any of her weapons. To get back in the fight, Bubble simply pulls the ripcord again and detonates the shield, leaving herself unharmed but at the center of a sizable explosion. The more damage the shield absorbs, the more powerful the explosion, but if the enemy destroys the shield before she manually triggers it, the shield will deflate, slowing her down and leaving her defenseless for the five seconds she needs to cut herself free.
30-second cooldown, one in stock at a time. If Bubble’s shield is fully cooled down, the Kevlar in her coat will offer 20% incoming damage reduction.
Ability 2: Objective Specialist

Bubble is known to travel light, so her loadouts are mostly shotguns and machine pistols. She can reportedly do a lot of melee damage with her ski poles, but knows her way around a good combat knife.

Fight Back
Bubble’s weapons can’t reach very far, and her detonating shield is powerful if short-range. Stay at a distance and lay into the shield with everything you have, but be ready for her when she pops out. Once she’s out, remember that she no longer has a Kevlar coat and will take full damage from your weapons. If you can, use explosives to implode her shield to get a good opportunity to fire.
