Merc Augment Upgrades
How can this work without overpowered Mercs steamrolling other players?
For every level, a player receives a MAU(Merc Augment Upgrade) for every Merc the player has. The player can upgrade any augment that the Merc has, but the rest of the augments get a small nerf as a counter. For example, if the player has the Try Hard augment, he/she can get a maximum of 40 HP, but other augments, like Chopper and Quick Slash, become a 10% increase to melee damage and 17% increase to melee speed instead of 15 and 25 percent. There is also a maximum of 3 upgrades to an augment to prevent a player from getting a 100 HP boost.
For those that are wondering, what would happen if you upgraded one augment 3 times but then wanted to upgrade another augment? The answer is: upgraded augments are not disturbed, and the augment's upgrade is at an increase half of the decrease. To clarify, here's an example:
(Upgraded Try Hard 3 Times)
Try Hard Lv.4(Max): 60 HP boost when dying 6 times consecutively without a kill
Chopper: 0% Increase to Melee Damage
Quick Slash: 0% Increase to Melee Attack Speed
(Upgraded Chopper once)
Try Hard Lv.4
Chopper Lv.2: 2.5% Increase to Melee Damage
Quick Slash: 0% Increase to Melee Attack Speed
(Upgraded Chopper again)
Try Hard Lv.4
Chopper Lv.3: 5% Increase to Melee Damage
Quick Slash: 0% Increase to Melee Attack Speed
(Upgraded Quick Slash once)
Try Hard Lv.4
Chopper Lv.3
Quick Slash Lv.1: 4% Increase to Melee Attack Speed
(and so on)
What do you think? Is this a good addition to Dirty Bomb? Is it OP?
