Profile- Originally a freelance spy and assassin, he was disgraced after a fairly routine job went horribly, horribly wrong. After escaping for his life from the people who had hired him, he used the rest of his limited funds to buy a few nifty gadgets and boarded the next flight to England. After being chased across the country by his pursuers, he eventually found his way to London, where his unusual skillset would be useful and profit him.
Appearance- Has sandy brown hair and a somewhat pale skin tone. Wears an incredibly dapper homburg hat and a [url=http://www.98mod.ir/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/26.jpg]dress jacket buttoned only in the middle with a tie underneath, and slacks. His boots and gloves appear somewhat bulky underneath his slacks and jacket, due to the shock absorbers attached underneath.

Ambush pulls out his smartphone with a preloaded hacking app. Using the Hack Tool, you can make just about any deployable that can be reclaimed or destroyed, as well as a few abilities, emit a spotting pulse to spot any enemies in a 10 meter radius every 5 seconds. It takes two seconds to hack something.
Certain deployables and abilities can be hacked to provide certain effects, so long as it is in line of sight. All deployables within 25 meters are highlighted through walls when the Hack Tool is equipped, and anything within 20 meters is hackable. It is possible to hack through thin walls. Up to three things can be hacked at one time. All hackable deployables, objects, and abilities are in the spoiler.
Abilities and deployables will play a chime when hacked and after every spotting pulse. Hacked deployables can be unhacked by reclaiming or destroying them. They also wear off on death or after 15 seconds. There are exceptions.

Healing Station- if LOS hacked, it will explode and deal 50 damage to all nearby enemies.
Healing Pulse- if hacked, will emit a spotting pulse on use. Hack wears off after one pulse.
Refractive Armor- if hacked, will disrupt cloak and put it on full CD.
IR Vision- if hacked, will mark Redeye’s position while in use. Wears off after 5 seconds in use.
Heartbeat Sensor- when hacked, it will turn to the hacker’s team.
Ammo Station
Turret- if LOS hacked, it will fire upon the next enemy to stray into it’s range until it is destroyed or kills the target. In the latter case, it will self-destruct afterwards.
Detonator- if LOS hacked, activating the detonator will emit a spotting pulse. Wears off after 2 detonations.
Proxy Mines- will detonate upon being hacked.

Secondary Ability- Pounce
CD- 5 or 8 sec
Duration- Instant
Ambush crouches and readies his knife and pistol. Releasing ‘E’ (or holding and releasing LMB if you equip with 5) will cause him to spring forwards in an arc towards where he is looking at. Speed and distance traveled is dependent on how long the ability button is held down, taking 3.5 seconds to charge fully. The charge can be held for 4 seconds before Ambush pounces anyways. Pouncing onto a wall makes him attach to it, which causes a 5 second CD instead of 8.
Impacting an enemy in mid-flight will cause Ambush to play a short, 2 second animation in which he stabs the enemy and a turnspeed limit is placed on the enemy for the duration of the animation. The stab deals 45 damage, after which Ambush jumps backwards and is allowed to shoot again.
In the event that Ambush impacts an enemy from above and in the general head area, the stab will deal 65 damage and he will instantly jump back to the place he was when he initiated the jump. This has a very low chance of instantly gibbing the enemy, about 5%, in a 3 second animation where he slits the target’s throat. Thunder and Rhino are immune to the instant gib chance.

Jumping into a wall will cause Ambush to stick to it, allowing him to climb and attach to walls and ceilings. It is possible to fire secondary weapons while clinging onto a wall, but with a 20% accuracy penalty.

Note: All of Ambush’s primary pistols are surpressed, which makes them create an omnidirectional hit marker on the enemy’s screen, have 10% better starting spread, and kills won’t show up on the enemy team’s killfeed, screen, and minimap.

Creator’s Notes-
Ambush’s abilities and playstyle are heavily influenced by the 2D puzzle-action platformer Gunpoint. He is meant to be incredibly effective at ambushing single enemies from above, dropping down, gibbing them, getting out of there, which is why his only weapons are modified pistols and melee. The problem with Ambush though, is that he has no direct combat capability, making him almost useless on offense. In order to solve that,I was considering making the Adhesive Gloves a passive ability and the Pounce a secondary ability able to be used at will, but he would have to “charge” the Pounce first, as well as making the damage bonus only avaiible if you struck the target’s back. Changes I suggested myself have been made.
I know this merc concept is going to be insanely hard to balance, so I’m going to need all of the feedback I can get. Tell me what you think!
