Technology. Technology changes everything. That was Aegis’s motto after he had to leave all his inventions behind after the Dirty Bomb attacks. He took up mercenary work to scrounge up some money to make ends meet. One of his jobs brought him to his old, abandoned house. He recovered his old inventions and tweaked them to suit his mercenary needs. Now he’s making enough money to get a roof over his head, and some leftover. Aegis is an Assault mercenary. He can activate his experimental APS shield to spearhead attacks or to hold down a position.
Primary Ability: Active Protection System (APS) CD:40 sec. Max. Duration:15 sec. Min. Duration:7 sec.
Aegis activates a large device on his back that creates a hemi-spherical shield around him. The shield absorbs all enemy bullets and enemy projectiles bounce off the shield. Friendlies and enemies can enter the shield however enemies have their movement speed reduced to walking speed. The shield has double the area of Phoenix’s Healing Pulse without any perks. Aegis moves at walking speed when APS is active. APS has to be charged much like Phoenix’s Healing Pulse. The longer it’s charged, the longer the shield will last and the bigger the sphere will be. APS makes a beeping noise while charging.

CD: 40 sec.
Min. Duration: 1 sec. Max. Duration: 3 sec. Aegis activates the device on his back which scrambles the devices of all enemies in the area. Enemies affected by Blackout have their vision obscured and are unable to fire for 1-3 sec. and have their ability cooldowns increased. Blackout has the same area of APS and affects enemies above and below Aegis. Blackout also has to charge up like APS and makes a high-pitched beeping while charging. Blackout shares the same cooldown as APS (using Blackout will put APS on cooldown as well). Primary Weapons: K121 Timik-47 M4A1 Secondary Weapons: DE. 50 S&W Simeon. Melee Weapons: Beckhill, Stiletto, Cricket Bat Class: Assault. HP: 130 Speed:400

is it just me or is this the exact abilities of the support from tom clancy’s ghost recon phantoms? or as i’d like to call it, tom clancy’s worst nightmare or hackers and microtransactions?
actually, scratch that, its not me, it f*cken IS the EXACT abilities of the support from microtrans-hacker-fare.
and to top it off, its not entirely clear what class this merc is classified as. secondary doesnt seem to point towards recon, medic, fire support, or engineer, and i dont think i know an assault with 2 abilities.

its an abomination, and everything everyone hates about free to play games. when i hear people complain about this free game or that free game more often than not i laugh a little because i played GRP
