Memory Leak

I was host in a 16-man resort, no bots. Third stage, maybe 20-25 minutes in the game froze then this error message popped up:

sdMemory::AlignedAlloc (“SDHEAP_ MISC”,2) request for 57440 bytes aligned at 16 failed

Is there a workaround? A known cause? Perhaps a suspected cause? Plans to fix?

How many times have you had this error in Brink?

How long had Brink been running before you had this error?

I got the error message once. Similar lockups indicative of a memory leak are frequent but no error message is displayed. They always require unplugging the PS3 console.

I had probably been playing for a few hours at that point but I don’t recall the exact amount of time. The game froze for a few seconds and I suspected I would again need to unplug the console. Instead I got the error message from the PS3. I have a photo if necessary.

A Google search led me to another post in this forum by a PC user experiencing a similar error when tabbing out of the game.
