Can any1 explain me how exactly melee works ? More specifically ohk.
Im asking because i cant figure out heads of tails of that thing. Is it bugs, hacks or just lags ?
Ive tryed knife, stiletto and bat. Ive tryed from front, side, behind, head. With and without appropriate perks(unless there is some that give you instant kills that i havent seen so far).
I cant kill any merc in one hit with any melee weapon from any side. Yet i perodically run into guys who just pop on you and ohk you in one swing in ther face.
Just today had runin with one of those. Terminal. Final stage. One of the carts alredy gone, second is almost there. Im defusing dyna, slowly, as Sawbones, almost got it also. Then suddently Proxy runs at me, right thru laser beam that Kira on our team deployed as cover, pokes me right in the face and im dead(i had full health), Proxy is at full health.
At the same time about a week ago, i tryed to finish off Skyhammer with bat from behind. 2 hits, then he turns and kill me(i had like 10 hp) and walks away with ~60% health.

the melee weapons have a (stronger) secondary attack, you can 1hit light mercs with it (proxy, aura, kira).
There is also a chopper augment which increases melee damage by 20%.

But how can one ohk Sawbones with it ?

It can’t be done. If you were hit by a bat with a right click and they had the Chopper augment then it would have been 96 damage. Sawbonez has 110HP. That means you didn’t have full HP when you were hit. Or they left clicked you with a short swing then right clicked you or left clicked you twice.

And you most likely left clicked the Skyhammer which would have been 55 damage per hit totaling 110 damage where Skyhammer has 120. But if he had 60% HP left that means you only hit with one of your two swings.

Ok, il count it hack then. Sawbone were at full health. Should have recorded.

I just want to confirm if backstab right-clicks are one hit 'cus I seem to one hit everytime I backstab someone with a stiletto.

In terms of ROF:
Stilnotto Stiletto > Fastest
Beckhill Combat Knife = Average
Cricket Bat < Least Fast
Someone confirm?

Damage Left-Click/Right-Click
SS : 35/90
BCK : 40/80
CB : 55/80

All have 100% move speed which is the fastest weapon carried. IDK if abilities have 100% too.
