Some people don’t care about the little silly stats, but some people also do.

Community servers in TF2 do this. TONS of fun.
I tried a game with just Rhinos when he was on rotation. It was hilarious until people started switching out for engineers.

It doesn’t hurt anyone to offer the option. You can still play on whatever server you want. Nothing is being taken away from you so I don’t get why people are so aggressively against these kinds of things.

If you got a group of willing people together you could all find a server and do it. Or maybe even DBNation would let you use one of theirs if it was free, I’m not sure, you’d have to ask them :slight_smile:

I could see a 24/7 melee only server being pretty popular when community servers eventually get here assuming there is somebody out there or a group of somebodies who would want to pitch in to pay for it.

Ask DBNation to host a melee fest, they have all the private servers

What people are saying about waiting for community servers are your best bet bud. I agree that melee only can be a fun time, though it gets boring fast, it’s not going to happen, and we don’t need SD prioritizing any form of TDM or mode other than the ones they should be working on.

Once community servers comes out I’d host an always Terminal melee only and probably a chapel Arty only because I think they’d be hilarious. Until then, nah.

What Nail said above is very smart though if you’re just itching for them.
