Medium and UGL Gerund after playing light

I loved light, zipping around. Tried playing medium a few times, felt slow and weak. But then I started a new char to level with a friend, and it forced me to spend sufficient time in medium to change my playstyle.

I’m playing medium on my main now too and really liking it. Sure there are many times I wished I was light, at CQB I still run with the Carb and feel a bit slow, but when you can find some long or medium sight ranges, you can really dominate the carb users, and their secondaries can’t keep up. Sec tower, defending the terminal safe, parts of container city, I had a lot of success with it.

And the UGL is just plain awesome. It really is instawin if you catch an enemy with it, and when you see a bunch of enemies you’re able to capitalize on the opportunity immediatedly rather than seeing them disperse or kill you while you cook a frag.

Now I have to find out if the Euston or Rhett sits best with me for CQB work so I can utilize the UGL at that range also.

Anyone else rediscovering ARs?

The under-slung grenade launcher is definitely the most underrated attachment in the game. It works extremely well on any AR, but it truly shines with the Rockstedi and the Gerund due to their above average accuracy. Knock 'em down and then finish 'em off before they can get up.

I’d forget about the Euston for CQB situations and rock the Rhett. It does some serious damage no matter what the range, but it isn’t that accurate so up close situations are what it’s best suited for.
