Medics are always needed in loadouts when playing this game. It’s a bit upsetting because that any time there’s a team without a medic, it becomes really hard to succeed. Meanwhile, teams are just fine without fire support, recons, assaults, and engineers as long as they cover the other bases.
My question is: should medics recieve a nerf? Like, make their abilities less powerful, or make all the non-medics able to keep the team alive more effectively?
My first suggestion is to add a 20 second cooldown to defibrillators and increase the revive gun’s cooldown, but I am unsure if this idea is in the best interests of the game.
Maybe Turtle would answer this problem, but then that just makes Turtle another medic, am I right? Gibbing seems to be the answer against medics, but obviously it’s way too powerful in competitive due to highly skilled players being able to one-shot everything, which easily gets out of control.
