Medicks

I’m a little bit tired of this happening, so I decided to turn into a video joke:

What are your adventures with medics being dicks? If you recorded something funny, I’d love to watch it

But, honestly, I don’t get it. I may not be a very good med, but I can easily see all teammates waiting for revive, it’s not that hard. What else do you need, a siren sound?

Yeah, that stuff happens so often. One somewhat comical one I was a part of recently had a bunch of us using the vsay medic call and then one guy on voip got pretty pissed.

My hell that music selection sure burst my laugh related organs into work :'D Thanks!

All true and all familiar. I’ve started a tough love- type of training quite long ago. Since I often play as medic, I got the power and I got the balls to…give as many friendly, tea-baggy reminders of how frustrating it can be when somebody is not doing their class jobs, as is necessary. Let it be Skyhammer’s unable to hit E every once in a while or fellow medics who’ve stuck their revival equipment so far up in their rear-end of the digestive system sparks can be seen any time they open their mouth.

Every single one of them deserves a few disappointments in seeing medic charging defibs on top of them, teabagging and leaving them rot  They’ll learn.

They revive me usually after a heavy series of NSFW insults through VoIP and angry sounding German words. Or I just play Phoenix. Or I kick them if they don’t revive. Lol.

(Amerika) #5

From an outsiders perspective German almost always sounds angry or nearing anger

(SiegeFace) #6

Godly tune, Haven’t heard that in years…

Soil - Can you heal me, Is one I would of used though just for the chorus. “HEYYYYYYYY CAN YOU HEALLL MEEEEEE!!!, HEEEEEYYYY LISTEN TO MEEEEEEE”""

It’s actually disgusting how often this happens haha. What’s worse is when the Aura is taking on 3 or 4 people herself and doing a reasonable job as she is standing in her station, but doesn’t even think to pick up the fragger, skyhammer and stoker all sitting next to her kicking around waiting to be picked up.

Aliens.

This is why aliens won’t visit us.

Or they will decide to nuke us from orbit. You know, just to be sure.

Agreed. Even my dog (Miniature Pinscher - German descent) is an angry little bastard towards new people  We often have a laugh because when you have food and he gets impatient he does this weird little bark under his breath that sounds like he is saying NEIN.

(Kingsley) #10

Yep, this actually forced me to use voice communication in DB. Which then led me to become friends with other players.

(Amerika) #11

Jesus dude, I’m sorry. That’s just horrible :’(

(Maverix) #12

I don’t usually have this problem. I use in game voip to grab their attention and works 90% of the time.

(Amerika) #13

You lead a charmed life.

I despise this as well. I main Phoenix so I always, always, always pick people up; even if I have to run far for them sometimes, unless I’m risking reviving them into a barrage of bullets. And 9/10 times I always give a max defib charge and heal right after to get them 100%. It’s better for them/my team and my XP.

I remember getting so frustrated by medics just ignoring me or tap-reviving me and giving me the bare fuckin’ minimum so I just die again. I had so many nasty little Aura’s just tap me over and over into a rain of bullets just to farm me for XP till I hit K so they’d stop.

So #notallmedics. I do my best to be courteous and helpful to my teammates. Unfortunately some medics are twats.

Although I do have to say I hate it when people spam Mediiiiiiiic! every time they get dinked like they want me to sit in their pocket. Fuck off.

(nokiII) #15

Shooting before reviving is actually a good practice, they just take it a tad to far.

(Torch189) #16

Me calling for medics, especially when they run over my dead body… https://youtu.be/nlYlNF30bVg
:stuck_out_tongue: xD

(Amerika) #17

I actually just explained this to a friend. When I down somebody in the open I put a few bullets in their downed body sometimes and then leave it to bait the overly aggressive medics who basically just pull out their paddles and run at people. Finish the downed player quickly then kill the medic while they still have paddles out. Works pretty well.

IMO it’s always a good idea to head towards a revive with your gun out and looking for people baiting you and shoot at them as you head to the revive. You can not only avoid the scenario I explained above but they might forget to gib the downed player and you can still get the revive.

Thanks for the nightmare fuel.

(MTLMortis) #19

What I hate is people that just scream over VOIP for a medic but never V21 so I have no clue where in the hell they are then start berating you for sucking as a medic.

Sometimes that all we have the time to do because you have less than a second before you are unrevivable due to incoming bullets. That’s why we have healing stations. Get in them when ressed.

I’ve disabled voip because all those angry kids were playing on my nerves too much, but it was funny to hear somebody raging about meds

My hell that music selection sure burst my laugh related organs into work :'D Thanks!

I’m glad that you like it

I’m doing the same. Funny thing is, when I play with low-levels as Proxy, I also put a mine on downed enemies and they often don’t tap out, so when medic comes…

Yeah…
