A bit late in the game for a change like this, but what if medics were to supply both ammo and health?
The Field Ops and Soldiers kits are both deadly in different ways and have area control abilities, it seems the ability to drop ammo on top of that is just as much a self benefit as a team benefit.
Medics would be the only class with two item banks (supplies / paddles), but have the lowest proficiency with objectives. The self-supplying benefit would be pretty negligent, given their weapons are weaker.
Just a thought :]
Add-on: Fops could also do something like time based augments to team mates or something else new?
