"Medic" to "Supplier"?

A bit late in the game for a change like this, but what if medics were to supply both ammo and health?

The Field Ops and Soldiers kits are both deadly in different ways and have area control abilities, it seems the ability to drop ammo on top of that is just as much a self benefit as a team benefit.

Medics would be the only class with two item banks (supplies / paddles), but have the lowest proficiency with objectives. The self-supplying benefit would be pretty negligent, given their weapons are weaker.

Just a thought :]

Add-on: Fops could also do something like time based augments to team mates or something else new?

Seeing as we’re going down the character route I don’t see any reason that different “class” abilities can’t be included on a single character, but for this particular combination my heart is saying don’t do it.

Agree, and really desapointed about this … proficiency is just a big fake classes game …
but with this that can be just even worse

I would play sawbonez with any fops gun if i could swap guns :smiley:

Fops gun should be usable for every class, as a basic weapon. Lower down the fire rate, and it wont be as “op” anymore.
Anyways, I like the idea of a supplier. To some extent a medic doesnt need the fops, unti he runs out of amo, and the fops has his autoregen that will heal him up after time. Field ops then, could get some other gadget, to become more powerfull, like more health, or some other ability. And on top of that make suppliers and the strengthend up field ops useless for objectivec to balance them out in general.
It´s probably not the best idea, and I don´t think that changes this big will happen at all, but I would like it :slight_smile:

medic gives medpacks…fops gives ammo…engeneer constructs and recon hackz…this is classbased tactic shooter …all other changes are stupid and ruins this game…

a spawntimer…some weapon balancing map rebuilding and some more performance and this game is on the right way!!!

We have seen suplier, who can provide health as well as ammo in other classbased tactic shooters allready btw.

Just make the medics weapon on a par with fops. The differentiator should be abilities not guns…

Would be just like uber early alpha where the medic was the only class played (besides the obj peeps) since the bodies dropped ammo.

Haha, the times when the Sawbonez was super OP and his SMG could be used to snipe :smiley:
