Medic idea: Leech.

“Every drop counts, and you better be ready.”
Description: As a doctor before the Dirty Bomb events, he was a rich man but his methods of blood transferencing is what made him unique. Now Dirty Bomb is here, his job is gone and so there’s only one option left: Be a merc and take blood from others.
Nationality: Korean.
Class: Medic.
Gender: Male.
Health: 125.
Sprint speed: 405.
Weapons:
Primaries: M4A1, Timik-47, Stark AR.
Secondaries: Judgement (The Judge), Empire-9, Deagle.
Judgement:
Stats:
Damage: 30 (Body), 60 (Head)
Speed: 500RPM (rate of fire), 2 seconds (Reload Time).
Ammo: 10 (Default), 20 (Full)
Magazine: 5 (Mags), 5 (Ammo per mag)
Range: 925 (Min), 1850 (Max).
Melee: Beckhill Combat Knife, Katana, Stilnotto Stiletto.
Abilities:
Ability 1: Health Bomb: Leech can throw these at nearby allies and it’ll release a gas that will heal them for the total health you’ve taken. For example: You killed a Phoenix which is 100 health, that health you damaged will be collected to your Health Bombs. If the health you collected is all used up to heal allies then the gas will disappear and will require you to go out and fight to gain more blood. It doesn’t have a cooldown but it does need you to kill to make it works. It has a radius similar to Phoenix’s Pulse and you can only carry 1.
Ability 2: Leech Bombs: It releases a red smoke that’ll damage players 25 health/second. The health that it drains from enemies is used to heal you and will NOT go into the reserve of your Health Bomb. It has a 7m radius and it doesn’t vanish since it works like the tunnel gas, it can however be blow off by a bit of bang like grenades, air strikes, etc… You can carry 2 of them and has a cool down of 15 seconds for each one.
Ability 3: Syringe: Instead of the usual Defibs, he gets syringes. This provides for a permanent full health revive at the cost of a 2-second action time and it can revive enemies if you’re dead enough to think it’ll finish them. It doesn’t have to be charged for full effect but you can’t cancel out of the animation.
Tactics:
When playing as Leech, don’t just coward around and stay in the back, throw down a Health Bomb at where your teammates are at to heal them while also dealing with the enemies to get their health. If you find yourself being trapped, try to throw down a Leech Bomb to prevent the enemies coming in or take their health for yourself. When there’s no one at the Health Bomb, pick it up instead of dealing damage to provide nothing.
Fight back:
When fighting against Leech always know that his weapons are medium range so take the battle to him close and personal or from afar. Remember that you can always use explosives to turn out the gases and if you’re lucky, a clueless Leech might be stupid enough to revive you.
(NOTE: This is just concept 1 in one of my concepts for this guy so don’t take this as the real deal.₫

the leech bombs i think should have a longer cooldown of at least 15-20 seconds other than that this merc idea is fine

(yesser) #3

make it necessary to atleast go to the enemy corpse to take health cause it doesnt really make sence that you gain blood but shooting with the gun and for the second ability i think like this it would be pretty op its just a molotov that dont vanish automaticly after a period of time and it heal you so it need some rework and foe the syringe devide it in two parts charging and then using it (1.5 second then 0.5 maybe ? )

(MrLashnibro) #4

I was going to include the idea that you have to go up to the enemie’s corpse to take their blood but if it’s a walk-by-got-it situation then I would’ve but if you’re suggesting that a full animation, that would put him being vulnerable. As for the Leech bombs, I think nerfing the damage a liiiiitle bit is fine other than that it’s fine. And the syringe, ok lemme stop you right there: How the hell do you even charge a syringe? Like that doesn’t make any sense to me.

(yesser) #5

its not really a charge just to make the syringe more suitable since most of the time we move in db so we dont always miss the revive

(MrLashnibro) #6

How about this? The “charge” is that you first have to remove the cap on the syringe first, you can still sprint and the revive is inject them which takes 0.5 seconds, yes?

I really like the concept.

However I’d have different medium of leeching. Perhaps a dart or something, the health bomb is cool and how the ability coexist together.

(yesser) #8

@MrLashnibro thats what i meant thx for understanding  . i just noticed that theres 3 abiltys and none of them is a passif . so we have 3 possebilties maybe health grenade and cyringue or leech and cyringue or greande and leech but it would turn into a medic who dont revie . the leech could be nice to make the medic more tanki but please change it from and area denial cause if we say 5 players are in the smoke you will recieve like 175/S and that really much

(MrLashnibro) #9

@agileBeetle health grenade and syringe would be nice but the main problem is that if the grenade is just gonna heal automatically like all the other healing abilities do then it would just make him another regular medic. Leech and syringe would be kind of difficult since you only take the enemies health to yourself and not to your teammates, even more annoying is that if the leech bombs take the enemies health but transfer it to the syringe then you would have to go to every single teammates and injects them to heal them. As for the final option: do you health and leech bombs? If so then if the health bomb is able to revive teammates then it would be pretty ridiculous since they would just stay in there and leech, it transfer to you as I said earlier NOT teammates. Side note though, I decreased the damage from 35 to 25, that’s the closest I can get to the gas tunnel.

(yesser) #10

i ve thought of making the syringe do a double job revive if downed and heal x mount of health to a team mate so the second option leech and syringe would be better so we get a medic who can tank and revive/heal teammates but how do we counter the grenade in close area ? i guess it shouldnt be a grenade maybe a drone that go take health from a single person then ruturn to you to heal you ?

(MrLashnibro) #11

Well as of now, the leech grenades can be destroyed by using explosives like mines, air strikes etc… As for the drone idea, it depends on how smart it is. If it runs straight into an enemy like a test dummy, it would be dead in seconds. I’d say if the “drone” wants to leech health then I have to at least make it somewhat of a sticky. The syringe doing double job sounds kind of a hassel since you literally have to go to every single teammates to heal them and revive them.

i guess the leech grenade should have a smaller tick then the molotov one or it would be op and for the syringue i guess it true + healing merc who are faster then you would be a problem
i was thinking of making the leech and heal a single bomb it would heal like the heal grenade work and will hurt ennemies and give it to the allies in her area and the heal will become smaller of each one who is in the area (1person x amount of hp per sec 2 person x/2 hp per sec ) and it will last longer the more health you ve taken from ennemies

The leech grenade and health bomb being one isn’t going to work since how are you going to heal yourself if the enemies isn’t going to be in the leech smoke and the health bomb doesn’t heal you either.

(yesser) #14

i thought it would work like the health grenade to get the health of the bomb you need to kill and if an ennemy is in the bomb it will last longer heal more and deal dammage to him

(MrLashnibro) #15

That would work but I doubt anyone dumb enough to step into their own death unless its unexpected.
