I think I’ve read somewhere that the medic doesn’t only have to run around and heal, but he can also provide buffs. What exactly are some that he can do? Like any example?.. just never heard of buffs in a first person shooter before so I would like some examples of what they are like.
Medic buffs?
Sounds similar to what the TF2 medic can do although I guess it might be done a bit differently.
It would be interesting to see a medic influence more than just a health bar. Providing the team with buffs such as increases in agility, damage, or maybe the amount of weapons held at once sounds like something I hope would be in Brink
A medic’s buff is the healing itself, which–as far as I am concerned–overheals your teammate’s health (probably to 150% like in TF2, but maybe not).
There is no way to buff agility or weapons held, but engineers can buff the damage of guns.

are these buffs permanent until you die or does it work for a specific amount of time? like 30 sec. or a minute.
depend skills.
also skilled operative can buff you google as well as backpack[+1extra clip+1extra nade+cookie].
and solider can give you motion detector and/or sticky bomb[remote-controlled].
Let’s just say for now, that it all depends on how you use your ability points…
has been said somewhere on cf that medic packs also can increase your health beyond 100% whilst it decreases over time untill it hits 100%
another part of the puzzle revealed^^

raising past 100% may be a skill/ability you need to purchase.
