med packs

hello guys i did some testing in the fragfest and stuff

this is my personal problem

the medpacks it doesnt ad your life points in one it slowly crawles up

that is my problem why not make the med packs have lower health regen like 25 points or 30

and you can drop 4 4x25=100 easy however many gone say its overpowered then well not really
if you put a slight delay like 2 secs in every medpack you can throw or drop you fixed the overpowered problem so
if you had a fight won the fight but your health is low you need some health back so you throw 1 medpack down go camp in a corner and there you go your full health is back that is how it is now

however how it can ben you got the fight again low health like 15 throw medpack down well you only got 45 yet hmm need to wait 2sec oh i died bcs i camped in a corner for to long :slight_smile:

Giving yourself a med pack gives you a quick regeneration while giving it to others give them a great speed regeneration boost, making Bonesaw more helpful for people than himself, besides aura which can just camp lots of places with her ability. Even so aura is quick, Bonesaw is more supportive than aura, or so I think. This game is about teamwork, not who has the most kills :wink:

Sounds like a major nerf. You’re still getting health back slowly, but instead of getting it constantly you have to stop shooting every 2 seconds to throw down a new bag to get it in small steps. I don’t understand what’s wrong with the way it works now? Seems perfectly fine to me.

I disagree with your points about Aura, her healing station is very useful for keeping players alive that are conducting an action that takes time and locks them in place (Proxy arming/disarming C4 for example).

The TTK is stupidly fast in this game (which is why most players play TDM instead of the objectives) so Aura’s healing station needs to have fast regen to counter it due to the length of time it takes to conduct any actions (this is also stupid, but blame SD/Nexon for wanting to appeal to low skill players). I would be much happier if this game had a much longer TTK so that gunplay also required teamwork (focus firing etc) but that will never happen, as the CoD players would all quit after an hour when they all walk away with few kills because real aiming skill is required and aoe’s don’t OHK.

The fact that some people want Med Packs buffed or Aura’s healing station nerfed just goes to show that many players think this should be balanced around 1v1 and not teamwork (buff my class to make it OP, nerf everyone else blah blah), which is why this game isn’t likely to maintain a large player base on release.

Then goes back to my last response, sawbones is really helpful with that as well but more offensive than aura, while Litego saying that he wants to hide and protect himself and use his medpack to save himself… yes aura is amazing when you know how to use her and your teammate knows that you have aura and should cooperate with eachother, however I have seen some people just using it for themselves and leave their aura ability behind… but aura is very helpful that you can just camp in a corner for like 2 seconds and use her ability and then pick it up and leave, while sawbones just gives out a quick regeneration but slow, making sawbones not really defensive, but more offensive than aura, so to speak

I think that the Aura’s healing station is way more strong and do practically the same than the healing packs of Bonesaw… Better healing regen, aoe healing and its portable, it has practically no cd. Your are mostly invencible in that healing station. compared thouse 2 they should nerf the healing regen a little more to compared to the Healing packs. Why a aoe healing have more regen than a single one?

I already said why, it is to heal players that are being damaged while trying to activate the objectives. Proxy dies in a few hits, making it practically impossible to achieve unless there is a way to shield/quickly heal through the damage. To counter that, players need to destroy the healing station, which isn’t exactly hard given some of the abilities that are available (grenades, air strikes, artillery etc).

The reason most people are complaining about the healing station being so strong is because they are losing 1v1 duels and think it is OP. If they had any brains, they would ignore camping Auras and run around to focus on the objectives instead of getting a kill.

Although, a good balance would be to prevent Aura from picking her healing station back up, so players would have to use it wisely. This game already has too many players that are more focused on TDM than the objectives, and that is with a small sample in a closed beta, just imagine how much worse it will get when the F2P pondlife are allowed in.

This game is already badly designed for objective play as it is without buffing/nerfing abilities to allow bad players to focus on TDM even more than they already do.
