Mechanics you discovered!

If you’re fast enough you can throwback the airstrike marker.

What’s some nifty things you discovered?

I don’t believe you

Prob need pineapple juggler aug

(appreciativeBuster) #4

Saw it in stream.

Didn’t believe it either, it’s possible though ! :hushed:

Strikes come too fast to make it a viable tactic though. You really have to be onpoint when it’s being thrown.

(Humbug) #5

i think it’s an augment:
PINEAPPLE JUGGLER:
Allows you to quickly pick-up and throw nearby grenades

(Zenity) #6

Has somebody actually done it and can explain how it’s done? Do you just press F next to the grenade and it throws automatically, or does it actually pick it up and then you have to throw it?

(einstyle) #7

in all my hours of playing I have never seen someone actually use the pineapple juggler aug
and I’ve been playing all the time with my Skyhammer juggler

Can somebody confirm, if next to throwing back, it’s also possible to cancel incoming airstrikes by shooting an airstrike marker, right after it has landed?
I could swear that I did this once, but it’s hard to confirm, because the zone was semi-closed off, and it could had just been the grenade function, that happens when airstrike can’t be called in.

I saw a dude do something similar on a stream. However it is as you say, impossible to determine if it was because of the grenade mechanic or that he shot it.

I remember people in Wolf would try to do that bug where if they sat over the airstrike marker it wouldn’t come down. But it was either stupid rare or didn’t exist. I just know people tried it even during matches at Qcon.

(Zenity) #11

I never considered it a bug (though it may well have been an “oversight”), and it worked pretty well (far from rare). You just have to be quick and get it exactly right or you are screwed, so people would only try that if evading is not a good option.

(Nail) #12

wasn’t a bug in W:ET it was even in the manual and quite easy to do

(Rhyno) #13

Discovered the get shot through metal mechanic

(B_Montiel) #14

Lol I’ve experienced this a couple of times and I also discovered that proxy is a witch :
