Maybe add a new gamemode called tournament?

When i heard about the new maps dockyard and the other one (cant remember the name),
I saw that the two maps are looking pretty simillar. And tbh they are also simillar to the map dome because they’re all from the containtment war.
So i thought: why not join the three maps and create a new gamemode called tournament?
I’ll explain:
Thirst you go through dome and try to complete all the objectives.
Then you go through dockyard and try to complete all the objectives too.
Then you’ll need to finish off all the remaining enemies so your objective will be stay alive and kill all of the enemy team members (just like in execution mode).
And then you’ll switch teams and try to do the opposite (as you would in stopwatch mode).
So bassicaly i thought about making a gamemode where three maps are joined together to make even a more longer round for each team, because i love playing long games and i know some friends of mine and their friends also like playing very long games. And it would also give the player to choose a new long round to play and enjoy.

Although it would be way too long for every day play, I would kind of like what u suggested but like in a story mode where u start off with an announcer giving up the back story then progress from one map to another with a story line between the maps and it would be nice to have some merc dialogs/ interactions clips in the middle. I’ve been wanting those for a long time and I haven’t seen any one do any Gary’s mod machinima videos like they do with tf2.

Dome and dock yard do tie into each other as in dock yard the blimp that u had to steal crashed. From what it sounds like from watching the devs stream there is another map in the works that ties the 2 maps together.
I would like a 3 parter objective/story mode for that one but stopwatch is too long and ruins the flow.

I wouldn’t mind playing something like that when I’m home alone with out the wife and kids as I like playing a lot with out distractions and since its winter there’s no yard work means i have nothing to do and im bored .And a 3 parter with out a lobby in the middle makes killing off missions faster.

I just want more overall back story, seems like we’ll get some when Aimee gets released!
