MAX video setting on launch, always, potato pc.

So for whatever hell of a reason, always get video settings on max, and i have a really potato graphics card.
you can guess what happens

Hello and welcome! :slight_smile:

Navigate to the following folder:

Documents > My Games > UnrealEngine3 > ShooterGame > Config

Open the properties of the ShooterEngine file and uncheck read-only.

Now select the custom graphics preset in the in-game options and you should be good to go.

oh thanks, i remeber that i sat it on read only, because i wanted to installa hud that anyway didn’t work.

EDIT: nope, it doesn’t work at all, it resets automatically on read only
help me ASAP

ShooterUI handles the HUD while ShooterEngine takes care of the settings.

If it automatically resets to read-only simply delete the file.
The next time you start DB any missing configs will be redownloaded.

deleted the entire folder, nothing

Do you have anything set in the launch options?
