Max_tw_verts (12) exceeded

(Dyalhenauss) #1

I got the MAX_TW_VERTS (12) EXCEEDED Error, I know what brushes are causing the problem, but I don’t manage to compile fine without deleting at least a few of them.

Yesterday, 2 other brushes were IN these brushes, I changed that so that no brush is inside the other, it was working fine until today… Even if I didn’t changed -any- of these brushes and not even the brushes around…

If anyone had any idea about how could I resolve this problem, I would really be grateful to him0, for the simple reason that I don’t want to change or delete this brushes.

Increasing my _blocksize value doesn’t change anything and it’s not for me an option.

Initialy, the brush had a lot of faces, but it wasn’t causing any problem until yesterday when I changed a brush near it (that wasn’t inside this other brush), I tried making multiple brushes instead of only one but it didn’t changed anything.

it happens during light compile?

actually i never had this error, but google sais it is caused by “too many non-axial structural brush faces, creating a mess that’s chopping up geometry going through it”. answer is made by one of the coders of q3map2.

so. no clue, but sounds like you have to detail your brushes…

Well, it seems to work in detail and I prefer this solution than the deleting one, thanks for giving it to me.
And Yes, I was happening during the light compilation.
You won a thanks in my readme file anyway, :).
And if you wanna test it, go irc to #wolfarea.
