Max Level 5 servers should be hidden from players above level 5.
I wish. But in the meantime just go with the “- min” in the search bar for now broham.
Too bad the “self-written-filter” doesn’t work. For me atleast. It worked some weeks ago, and then stopped…
Here’s the cheatsheet:
- Use + to only show servers that include the term (e.g. +8vs8)
- Use - to hide servers that include the term (e.g. -US)
- Use " around terms with spaces (e.g. “US East”)
- Use + and - before " for terms with spaces (e.g. -“US East”)
- Use map:name to filter by map name (e.g. -map:victoria or +map:bridge)
- Use mode:name to filter by game mode (e.g. -mode:stopwatch)
- Use is:full to filter out full servers (e.g. -is:full)
- Use is:empty to filter out empty servers (e.g. -is:empty)
- Use is: passworded (without the space!) to filter out passworded servers (e.g. -is: passworded)
- Use is:favorite to only show favorited servers (e.g. +is:favorite)
- All terms are case-insensitive (i.e. -US and -us do the exact same thing, as do -“US East” and -“uS EAsT”)
Any terms that are not prefixed with + or - are do an OR filter. For example, if your filter is 8vs8 7vs7, the filter will show servers that have either ‘8vs8’ or ‘7vs7’ in the name, and all other servers will be filtered out. You could then use e.g. 8vs8 7vs7 +“US East” -is:Passworded to show all 8vs8 or 7vs7 servers in the US that are not passworded.
I agree, it’s been annoying me for aaaaaaaaages xD however now I just use: -“max level 5” in my search bar for the server browser, and it gets rid of them all. It remembers your filter search too, so I don’t have to enter it each time.
Regardless, still think it should be done automatically ^.^

saying min when it’s max
This rattles my cage.

Weird, written filter still works completely fine for me.

I SHOULD ALSO MENTION I’M A FUKKIN DUMMY!
But yeah that’s weird how using filters don’t work for you. Just relogged myself and all seems well. I had to save my server settings by configuring them, closing the game, then restarting so maybe that could work.

Uhm, do I get it right? The filter actualy EXCLUDES the things you write into it and not INCLUDES only what you type in the field? That would explain why it don’t “work” for me…
I use “eu -max” and get pretty much the same results as your screenshot but with the min servers I guess.
if you did want to hide the min10 servers, you actually want to do -“min l”, or else it will remove all servers running terminal.
My personal filter is working just peachy. Nail’s post pretty much covers all of the options.
I would change that to: -“level 5”
else you’re also filtering out min lvl 10 servers.

Or more simply, I use -max
