hi. i have recently created a model for ET using 3ds max. i need a converter that can make .max files into .md3 files. but so far i have had no luck in googleing it (gave up after page 34) and have tried searching the forums but nothing has worked so far!
some one please help :? 
Have you tried NPherno’s MD3 exporter? (It’s an improved version of the Pop’N Fresh exporter.)
What version of 3ds max you have? If 3ds max 9 then there is no md3 exporter for this and then you should use gmax for this.

you can try to export it to milkshape and then with milkshape make it into an md3?
or use 3dmax4 or gmax

I have some plugins on my site. Just grab the MD3 Importer Plugin and MD3 Exporter Maxscript for 3dsmax (actually for gmax but will work, I have gmax there also).
