Matrox TripleHead2go Support?

(Bewst) #1

For the PC, will there be support for multi monitor using TripleHead2go?

Resolution 5040 x 1050 @ 57hz ? (60hz wont work)

Also, if you need any Beta testers for this I would be happy to!

Currently using an i7 920, 12GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 260, Triplehead2go Digital with 3x 22" widescreen monitors for games, then another 22" for messengers, etc

If it will support it great!! If not there are quite a few people that would be let down

There are ALOT of options with this and I would be happy to work with whomever to help support it!

Thanks in advance

A couple people have been asking for dual screen support. I doubt its going to happen though. I also doubt they’ll utilize MOVE and Kinect controls. All of which does not bother me. Sometimes games are more fun when they’re simpler.

I’m not sure the number of people using 4 22’ screen is so big anyway … But I guess i would be surprised

Take a look, forums too…I was surprised and got into it by checking them out

To be fair, with eyefinity coming out in the last year I wouldn’t be as certain that Brink won’t support super-wide resolutions. Its never a given, but the user-base for that sort of solution is increasing.

I’m not sure that there wouldn’t be balance/exploit issues with a multiplayer competitive game though, my perception has been that super-wide resolutions are generally better supported in singleplayer games precisely because of these issues.

That matrox site lists doom 3, quake 4, prey, and ETQW as supported games. I wouldn’t be surprised if the game had to be out or at least close to release to be on the list.

If ETQW is supported it’s a fair assumption that Brink will be

I appreciate all the assumptions, I am looking for a Mod/Dev, etc to answer with a definite answer.
