afaik, it was said dedicated server files would be available for user hosted servers, no mention of GSPs that I remember

I would hope friends lists take priority over matchmaking.

Just go to server browser and pick a server which doesn’t limit by rank (i.e. it’s a server option that can be turned off).

and yeah, there’s another thread on this somewhere with the exact same questions and responses.

My recollection on what was left open on that thread is if you are hosting a server, do you set it up with a particular rank, or does it autoset the rank based on the first guy in the match or what.
