it has happened twice to me today, just very unlucky, hard to replicate since it is all down to the unfortunate luck, but while searching for a game, if you decide to change your merc, click the merc icon at the bottom of the screen at the same time you receive a lobby, it kicked me back to the lobby and canceled the match search. also got an “unknown error has occurred” during the 2nd case of this happening today

Sorry for late response, but there was some issue recently, with today’s patch it should be fixed.
