alo9 ummm I dyno’d the radar door as axis but nothing happened when i was by the radio on the desk i even tried to dyno that but nothing so maybe your objective is sorta b0rked

sorry but the not cruelest way i can say this is, the your map look darnright ugly for the moment…

and if u are trying a conversion of the splashdamage Marketgarden map for ET, plz do a job good caus the splash rew deserves that !?

As said already, it aint the prettiest map, but you already stated that it was your first.

Only thing however: dont use the name Market Garden. As you might already know, that name belongs to one of the most popular RTCW maps, and it aint really fair to take advantage of the good reputation associated with that name.

damn, go-gerbil was right, all those maps are gona get brought to ET

dude, my only advice with this is simple

if your converting a map you must…

Make sure all the textures are there
make sure you have permission from the author
Do a good job

Marketgarden is a great map, and you should NOT doa bad copy of it.

Honestly, I didn’t really like Market Garden, and this map didn’t even live up to the low expectations I had for it. The map ends abruptly at certain points, and it’s just too blocky and…impractical. The stairs are too steep, the ladders are too wide, and the overall layout of the map just doesn’t seem to be all that playable. However, I did like the setup for defending from the rooftops, what with the boards serving as bridges from building to building. That just made the map a bit more practical, since it just makes you feel how rushed the defensive team was to set up their defenses.

Anyway, I’d honestly recommend a name change. First off, as was mentioned before, your map’s gonna be compared to the original Market Garden, and that was one of the most popular maps for RtCW. As a result, you’re gonna make yourself look bad, while giving the original map a bad reputation by leading those people that aren’t familiar with it to believe that your map is a faithful conversion of the original. Secondly, you’re gonna end up confusing too many people. Better to just change the name. Maybe read up on some WWII history and pick a scenario that involved a bridge. Just no more Rhine/Rhineland crap.
