I have a cure. “Common Ilene” by Dexies midnight runners, it will get you unstuck and the other song out of your head. But don’t blame me if the cure is worse than the disease.

[QUOTE=Nail;258653]everything is better with penguins
Shhh. You think the Summer solstice is mid-summer in the northern hemisphere. Your opinion is moot.
For me, summer starts when I can go barefoot, usually in May
btw, The Hopping Penguins are one of my favorite ska bands
Hey Badman. Just noticed that Steam still doesn’t have a release date on it. Maybe give Bethesda a kick to get them onto it?
That would utterly destroy the game. When you get shot, you wouldn’t say “Holy Bananas! I got shot!”. You would say “****! I got shot!”. If you are a teen, go play T rated games.
Cursing can add to a scenario, but only if done right.
In movies, music, stand-up comedy, etc. it can emphasize situations and really bring them out, but it can also kill the moment. A good example of this is BC2. When the players curse in the game, it almost sounds forced - like they are deliberately cursing to sound “hardcore.” Because of this, it kills the immersion and believability. Instead of sounding like soldiers genuinely using adult language in the heat of the moment, they sound like little kids cursing around their friends when mom and dad aren’t home, to “sound cool.”

I agree with you, to a certain degree. The way a soldier expresses his pain / emotions in a game is purely up to the VA. The soldiers don’t curse all the time, because that would be plain stupid and unneeded. The way the soldier reacts should depend where he got hit, but that would be very hard to implement in a game. This game generally isn’t supposed to be rated “Teen”, because the theme of the game is a “war” between two “factions”, not a simple hassle or fight. BC2, however is a good example. They overdone the cursing factor, and made the characters sound like thugs. I just gave a prime example of their reactions, not the only one. Also, as Nail mentioned, it’s a matter of the spot they got hit in.
I preferred the game to have gore in it, but if it doesn’t, it should be rated 16. minimum.
