Mapping ideas

Post here any mapping ideas you have.

I’ve got some ideas:
many tanks (if possible)
forest (I mean a forest where you can hide, so many trees, bushes and so much grass)
more destructible places or items (I’m trying to do always when possible)

I am a mapper. I just haven’t released any maps (yet). And I’m not a good mapper (yet).

Half the fun is thinking up your own ideas and then narrowing them down!

lemme save you some trouble. Many tanks isnt possible (unless only one has a machine gun)

The forest would probably be possible, although the framerates may be an issue. The ‘deformable’ level idea would require a lot of thought and a lot of brushes (just look at the goldrush brushes for the small areas that get damanged by the tank - there are probably 5 times as many as it would have normally, obviously this sort of effect for every surface would (a) take ages to make and (b) significantly lower performance.
